Two P&S Pics from Lunch

The other day I picked up a little point & shoot camera, a Canon PowerShot SX210 IS. It’s been a while since I had one & thought it would be nice to have with me on those occasions when having my full DSLR rig wasn’t possible or convenient. Well, it’s not the best camera in the world, of course, but for the money, it seems to be pretty cool. Here are two pictures I took at lunch time today using the “miniature” setting. It fakes a tilt-shift, miniaturized effect — giving you an adjustable sharp focus area fading to out of focus on either side, as well as a high-contrast, high-saturation look, as well. I don’t’ think either of these are two bad for the work involved:
