Photos: My Personal Top 10 of 2012
I went through the pictures I took this past year and selected my 10 favorite ones. They may not be yours, but they’re the ones I’m most happy with. It was an eventful year, with a child graduating from high school, another from college, and a trip to SE Asia last spring. So, here they are, in no particular order.
This was taken at the Maesa Elephant Camp, near Chiang Mai, Thailand.
A view of Ta Prohm Temple, part of the Angkor Temple Complex, Siem Reap, Cambodia.
These beautiful eggplants were found at the Eugene Farmer’s Market, Eugene, OR, USA.
The morning’s work at a talapia farm near Chiang Mai, Thailand.
A view of the girders supporting the North end of the Yaquina Bay Bridge, Newport, OR, USA.
This scene is from the “food court” of the Russian Market, as it’s commonly called, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
I really like the colors and the smoothness of the water in this one.
And one more:
This picture is probably the most successful one of the year. It is featured on the cover of a local business’ calendar and had received much positive feedback.
Well, there they are, my personal favorites from 2012. Thanks for looking. Hopefully I’ll have plenty of good photographs to show at the end of 2013.
