Hands on with the Pentax MX-1, the Latest Horse in the Retro Camera Race
I got into shooting Pentax largely because I had some lenses from a K-Mount film camera that we used years ago. As it turns out, neither of the lenses I had were much to write home about, but by the time I realized that, I had bought into the Pentax system. I’ve been pretty happy with my Pentax DSLRs — competitive on the features, especially considering the price. And, of course, now I have a nice little collection of useable lenses.
This week Pentax introduced their version of a “retro”-styled point and shoot. I think it looks kind of cool. I’ll be keeping an eye on it, with a view maybe picking one up some day.
